Six adult small groups meet every Sunday morning at 9:00am

  • We like lively banter and good conversation. While we often focus on topics related to family and children, we also discuss the state of Christianity and the church universal.   What we value most in our small group is fellowship and mutual support.  All are welcome!

  • While most of our class is empty-nesters (late 60’s and over), we welcome all ages – singles and couples.  We enjoy studying a wide range of topics from bible studies to books about living our faith. We are partial to authors such as Adam Hamilton, Barbara Brown Taylor, Amy-Jill Levine, Tom Berlin, and Rob Fuquay.

Teachers for the class are members and the schedule is on a rotating basis.  The format of this class is group discussion, not lecture.

We all arrive expecting to learn something every week as the Holy Spirit speaks through our classmates.

  • We are adult women of all ages and we study contemporary Christian literature that relates to our daily lives, such as Adam Hamilton, Max Lucado, and Andy Stanley.  We value the support we receive from one another and all are welcome!

  • All are welcome! Most of us are in our 40s - 60s and we chose our name based on the Biblical teachings in Matthew, Mark & Luke (Neither is new wine put into old wineskins; otherwise, the skins burst, and the wine is spilled, and the skins are ruined, but new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.  Matthew 9:17 NRSV).

We are very casual and we encourage everyone to come as they are and be themselves. We tend to study modern theologians – ex:  Adam Hamilton, Andy Stanley, Bob Goff, Amy-Jill Levine and we prefer lessons that relate scripture to living in today's world.   A typical Sunday school class starts with a fellowship/check in time, followed by the lesson and discussion, and ending with joys, concerns and a prayer.  The aim of the class is to learn more about scripture, how to relate it to our own lives, how to grow in our faith through open discussion and encouraging one another.

  • The Omni Sunday School class is a compassionate, caring group of men and women ages 70s -90s. There are 15-20 members in the class and everyone is welcome.  Class members facilitate each week's lesson and we have studied everything from life lessons to Methodist church history, including Advent and Lenten studies, as well as different religions, and everything in between.  This class does not discuss politics.

  • We are a multigenerational, adult formation group that welcomes people from all stages of life. Open to singles, couples, parents, empty-nesters, and beyond!
