Feed America First
Founded by a member of Bethlehem UMC, Feed America First addresses local hunger relief efforts. We purchase and package rice and beans, and Share the Feast with our neighbors at Thanksgiving.

Operation Christmas Child
We prepare and fill shoeboxes that share the love of Jesus with children around the world.

Love on Wheels
Founded by a member of our congregation, Love on Wheels provides a new suitcase full of supplies to children entering the foster and kinship care. Bethlehem UMC provides hands-on support through Church Has Left the Building

Project Transformation
For one week during the summer, Bethlehem UMC members and friends share our love of reading with our young neighbors.

Angel Tree
The BUMC Angel Tree ministry started in 1997 and provides gifts to those in our community who would otherwise not have a Christmas. Angels are hung from a Christmas tree set up in the church and are “adopted” by Bethlehem members and friends. Each angel includes the name, age, gender, sizes and wish list items. Angels range in age from infant to elderly. Gifts are distributed through Bridges Domestic Violence Center, to Room in the Inn guests and to local Franklin families.

Room In The Inn
Bethlehem UMC hosts ten men experiencing homeless every Saturday night through the winter months.

Kathy’s Backpacks
Bethlehem UMC packs and delivers backpacks for local elementary, middle, and high school students, so that each student can begin the year with a new backpack full of school supplies.
Bethlehem Sunday School classes and individuals also support these community ministries.

Miriam's Promise
Previously led by a member of our congregation, Miriam’s Promise provides support for families experiencing unplanned pregnancies.

Meals on Wheels
A hot meal and a good friend are two of life’s greatest enjoyments. Mid-Cumberland Meals-on-Wheels has been providing both for more than 49 years. In fact, we provide congregate meals, home-delivered meals, outreach, nutrition education, supportive services, and recreational activities for individuals age 60 and older.

One Gen Away provides food support for those experiencing hunger.
