Weekly Greeting - July 3, 2026
I want to offer a quick update on our building use.
We found out on May 31 that Chesterton Academy of the Incarnation, which has used our building for the past three years, will be relocating to St. Philip Catholic Church. I want to share with you some of what they shared with us
“We want to express our deepest gratitude for the extraordinary generosity, hospitality, and support that Bethlehem United Methodist Church has shown us over the past three years. Your kindness allowed our school community to grow, flourish, and feel truly welcomed.
We have been continually touched by the warmth of your staff and parishioners. From the smallest daily acts of encouragement to the great generosity of opening your doors to us, you have been a blessing to our students, families, and faculty. The spirit of charity and goodwill we experienced at BUMC will remain an important part of our school’s story.”
What a powerful witness to the hospitality that lies at the heart of Bethlehem United Methodist Church!
July 1, 2026 officially marked one year that my family and I have been part of Bethlehem, and I, too, can attest to your generosity and hospitality. It has truly been a gift to be in ministry with you, and my prayer is for many more years of service, creativity, worship, fellowship, and work for the kingdom with you!
And on another note, if you know of any groups who might benefit from the use of our facility, please direct them to Ron or me.
With gratitude,
Mary Beth
