Weekly Greeting - July 11, 2025

Greetings, Friends!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the warm and gracious greeting you have given — and continue to give — to my family and me!  From the moment the announcement was made that we were coming to Bethlehem, you have not ceased to offer your love and encouragement!  I spent this morning reading the cards that you have written and can’t wait to meet every single one of you!  Thank you for all the ways you have reached out and offered your support.  Thank you for bringing us wonderful meals and visiting with us.  And thank you to everyone whose time and effort and talents went into making the parsonage such a lovely place for us to land!

I am looking forward to Sunday with great joy!  It will be so good to begin to learn everyone’s name and to worship God together!

Our scripture for Sunday is Ephesians 3:14-21.  If you were at Annual Conference last June, or if you kept up from afar, you will recognize that scripture as our theme for Annual Conference.  I thought it would be a good jumping off place for us as we begin this journey together:  It will allow me to share a bit of my own call story — definitely more than I could have ever imagined! — and to dream with all of you about how God might already be working through us to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine.

I am so grateful to begin this journey with you and look forward to seeing you soon!

With gratitude for God’s abundant grace,

Mary Beth
