Sunday Schedule

Bethlehem’s Sunday schedule is Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. and Worship at 10:15 a.m.

Senior Adult and Guest Parking

Please reserve the Senior Adult Parking Spaces and Guest Parking Spaces near the main Sanctuary entrance for Senior Adults and Guests.  We have church members who cannot walk a long distance and need to be able to park close to the door in order for them to attend worship.

We have plenty of old Fish Fry T-Shirts.  Many thanks for all your help.

VBS Orientation

It's almost time to trek into the great North and explore what it means to trust Jesus in a wild world!  What an amazing setting to help kids discover the awesome love and power of Jesus!  We're going to "pack" this week full of Bible-learning experiences, team building games, sciency fun experiences, creative play, and songs that will speak truth to us long after the week is over!  Plus, we'll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life!  Let's all get together and make sure that we are ready to go! Please plan to attend the fun Sunday orientation meeting:

Sunday, June 1 at 9:00 a.m. in the Old Sanctuary (your kids can come too!)

Registration has CLOSED. If you need to register a child who is coming with you, contact April Jackson (ajackson@bethlehemumc.com).   This is such a fun and important theme. The prayer is that we all have an awesome time and come away closer to God and closer to one another.  Wherever He Leads Us!

VBS Decoration Help Needed

It's almost time for VBS!  Do you have any tree stumps, cut pieces of wood, birch branches, tents, camping supplies, or other Alaskan-themed decorations that we could use?  We would love Christmas trees too.  Talk with April Jackson to share items or ideas that will help set the environment for our kids to learn that in a world that is always changing, Jesus is our True North!

Safer Spaces Training — June 6

Safer Spaces Training will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. in Conference Room 2 (Omni Classroom).  This session, let by Terry Carty, will delve into the details of living out our safe spaces policy. Anyone interested in learning the details are welcome to attend.  Those leading our children, youth or at risk adults on a regular basis are particularly encouraged to attend. Please RSVP to Jen McQuiston jen@mcquistontn.com

Fish Fry Silent Auction Help Needed

Fish Fry Silent Auction Donations are now being collected.  We need your help to make it possible.  Please consider what you, your small group or even the places you frequent can donate to the auction.  Vacation spots, sporting event and entertainment tickets, golf foursomes, gift baskets, artwork, and gift cards are wildly popular. Contact the team at auction@bethlehemumc.com about donations or with questions. Donations can be dropped off at the church's office during regular office hours, Monday - Friday.

Dr. Craig Goff Retirement Celebration

Please join us in the Banquet Hall after the worship service on June 8 to say good-bye to Craig & Stephanie.

Retirement Celebration Thank You

Many thanks to everyone who has signed up to bring food or drinks to the retirement celebration for Craig & Stephanie Goff next Sunday.

2025 Flower Sign-Ups

Flowers are needed for the 2025 Worship Services.  Arrangements are $50.00 each and can be taken home after the end of the worship service.  Contact Dana Smyth (dsmyth@bethlehemumc.com or 615-794-6721) for more info or by using this link:  http://www.bethlehemumc.com/flowers.

Worship Help Needed

Each week we need several people to help lead our worship services by being Greeters/Ushers or Liturgists.  Also, the first Sunday of the month we need Communion Servers.  If you would like to sign up for any of these slots for the month of June, please contact Dana Smyth (dsmyth@bethlehemumc.com or 615-794-6721) if you have questions or need more info.

Safety & Security Measures

In an effort to provide safety for the church staff, preschool and Chesterton Academy of the Incarnation, all exterior doors will be locked during the week.  If you arrive at church and the door by the Sanctuary is locked, please ring the doorbell or call the church (615-794-6721) for assistance.
