Weekly Greeting - December 19, 2025

I can’t tell you how excited I am to celebrate my first Christmas with Bethlehem UMC! 

Terry and I are looking forward to spending Christmas Eve with our church family and friends at 4:30, 7:00, and 11:00 (although you may have to prop us up at 11:00!), and we hope that you plan to join us for at least one of those services. 

I did not come into the tradition of a Christmas Eve service until I was about twenty years old, but after my first one I was hooked.  I just can’t think of a better way to celebrate the birth of Jesus than with Communion and candles and simply being in God’s quiet and tender presence. 

I may not have finished all of my shopping, and there are so many things still left to wrap, but what I am ready for is spending Christmas Eve with all of you as we welcome Jesus among us once again.
