Description of Service 

 

Carry the cross into sanctuary at beginning of worship service.

 

Ushering                                            

Welcome members and visitors, distribute bulletins, assist with seating, collect the offering, and guide folks as they take Holy Communion.

 

Light and extinguish chancel candles, hand out offering plates and assist in communion during the 10:45 a.m. service. Third through fifth graders. Training provided in September and January.

 

Read assigned scripture in worship service and prayer of thanksgiving and dedication, 8:15 or 10:45 a.m.

 

Operate sound board in sanctuary during worship service, 8:15 or 10:45 a.m. Training provided.
