Children's Ministries It’s going to take over 300 volunteer hours to staff our children’s church activities. That’s right, we’ll need more than 300 volunteers if every volunteer does only one small task! But we’ll only need half that many people if each person takes on two small tasks. Many of the tasks are easy like leading Mustard Seeds one Sunday during church, or taking a one-hour shift in the Children’s area during Fish Fry. If everyone does just a little, no one has to do more than his/her share. Below is a list of the volunteer jobs that we need filled for our children. Please take a minute to decide how you can contribute and share God’s love with our children. Sign up sheets are located next to the children’s bulletin board in the main hallway, call the church office at 794-6721 or email Rebecca Little at: rlittle@bethlehemumc.com.
Mustard Seeds (during each worship service)
We need 1 early service volunteer and 2 late service volunteers for each week. Most weeks are filled, but there are still some openings. Email Rebecca Little with questions about Mustard Seeds at rlittle@bethlehemumc.com.
Sunday School – Circle of Faith Rotation Sunday School
Each Sunday, our 1st through 5th grade children participate in Sunday School lessons that enhance learning Bible truths through 5 different study styles: music and games, video, story telling, art and science and cooking. The Bible verses/stories are told and retold in these different styles to help each child learn in their favorite way. Teachers are always needed to teach the children. If you can help in this important ministry, contact Rebecca Little at 794-6721 or rlittle@bethlehemumc.com.
The Grey Badgers men's softball team is now practicing for the fall season. We play every Thursday night at Fieldstone Farms from late August through mid October. We need a few more bodies. Please contact Al Adams at 977-0837 or David Wolfe at 595-8805 if you are interested. This is a recreational league. Emphasis is on fun and fellowship.
What: Bethlehem sponsors a community-wide Blood Drive every 56 days. As long-time supporters of the American Red Cross, Bethlehem provides the community a caring environment in which to donate. Homemade food is prepared and served by BUMC volunteers who assist donors for healthy, successful results. No appointment is necessary.

Where: In the Christian life center at the rear of the church property.
