Library Update

Our church library has recently added approximately 100 new books to our bookshelves. About one-third of the books were purchased through the generosity of the Bethlehem Women's Book Group in memory of Marie Woods (Angie Elmore's mom). Browse the list to see what's new. New library books (pdf)

Children's News

We’ve had some days that feel like summer already. That can only mean that Fish Fry and Vacation Bible School can’t be far behind! VBS will be June 22-26. There will be many, many children and many opportunities to minister to Bethlehem’s children and reach out to the children of the Grassland community. If you are interested in being in ministry through VBS or by coordinating a portion of the Children’s Area for Fish Fry, please contact Rebecca Little. We are looking for 3 coordinators to work as a team to show Bethlehem hospitality to our young Fish Fry guests.

Worship Bags Now Available

Worship bags contain quiet activities to calm "the wiggles" during worship. They are designed for children 5 years old and younger. Bags are located on coat hooks outside the women's restroom. Please return them there after the service. Children's worship bulletins are located on the children's bulletin board. Ask an usher if you need help in locating them.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry

This new ministry provides a shawl to a member or friend who is going through a stressful time in their life. Please call or speak with Shery Stovall, Ellen Claire Davis or Robin Folks for more information.

Events

Youth Summer Trip

Each year, the youth group, choir and band hit the road for 5 or 6 days. All the trips include singing, fund, worship and ministry opportunities for all involved. For more information, contact Jason Sansbury at 794-6721 or email him at

Fish Fry Silent Auction

We are in need of volunteers to make phone calls to last year's contributors to request donations for this year's Fish Fry. If interested, please contact Lee Ann Bauer at frankleeann@bellsouth.net and we will provide a list. Adult Sunday School classes, please consider designing a theme basket to be auctioned.
