Andrew Ministry
Andrew Ministry is rooted and grounded in the biblical and theological understanding of hospitality, the nature of the Church and the role of God’s people in the mission of the Church, the body of Christ. Andrew Ministers welcome and introduce newcomers to the programs and activities of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. It takes its name from the Apostle Andrew who is associated with hospitality and for the way he brought others to Christ.
Andrew Ministers are trained laypersons who are knowledgeable about the ministries of Bethlehem. Some of the ways they can assist you are:
- Answer questions about Bethlehem.
- Help you identify opportunities for involvement and service within the church.
- Connect you with a Sunday school class or small group.
Teams of Andrew Ministers are assigned to serve one Sunday morning a month at the Welcome & Information Center located in the Narthex. Andrew Ministers also serve as new member sponsors.
