Pat Smith - Executive Administrative Assistant

Pat Smith was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and was raised on Signal Mountain enjoying the ability to see the sights and lights of Chattanooga below. She graduated from Red Bank High School, where she met her husband, Alan. In May of 1974, she graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a major in Mathematics, and minors in Data Processing and Secondary Education. From 1976 - 1982, she worked for Service Merchandise and the Baptist Sunday School Board (now known as Lifeway) as a computer programmer and systems analyst. In July of 1991, Bethlehem United Methodist Church needed some help updating the contribution information and she was hired as a part-time employee in December of that year as the Bookkeeper and she remains on staff today as a full-time employee.

Pat and her husband Alan have a daughter, Amber, who graduated in May 2006 from the University of Tennessee. Fun and relaxing things for Pat are being with people, working outside, reading, sharing books with the Bethlehem Book Group and watching the University of Tennessee Volunteers (Go Big Orange!) play sports, especially football.

Carl Wolhaupter - Maintenance Coordinator

Carl was born and raised in Northern Maine. He has lived in many different places but found Tennessee was the best place to settle down. He is married to Allison, a U. T graduate, and they live in Hendersonville. They do not have any children but they do have three cats. Carl came to Bethlehem in 2003 to help maintain the church grounds and buildings. The family life center and the property next door are several of the things that keep Carl out of trouble.
